Please slow down....

When does it slow down??? My weeks just get busier and busier! We went to a Fall Festival this weekend and had tons of fun. I will post pics later. It was the first one we have been to as a family since Europeans don't celebrate like we do. The girls had a blast and want to go again!

I have started "homeschooling" Madison and we have gone to the library quite a bit getting books and exploring. She is loving it...if only I remember to bring my camera! She is really picking up what we are doing...she is like a sponge. Potty training is going well too....we have pooped on the potty just trying to work on her being more consistent with it.

Emily starts Girl Scouts on Monday and she is so excited. She is already involved in choir at school and loves to sing. She has already made some friends and is enjoying it much better than in Las Vegas. She still has issues turning IN her somework...before it was just doing the homework now she forgets to turn it in. Ugh kids!!!

We go to Emily's school Friday morning at 6:15 to watch the inagural launching of the Geico hot air balloon. Larry will go with us also...I just hope everyone can be ready that early...I am so not a morning person! The New Mexico Balloon Festival starts Saturday and we are looking forward to seeing all the beautiful balloons. Everyone has told me how wonderful it is. Larry will be working some of it to make money for his squadron.

I am still looking for a part time job so I can get out of the house and get Madison into preschool/daycare which she is missing. We go the park a bit but not too many little kids there when we go which makes her so unhappy. Mommy just isn't much fun on the jungle gym!

Ugh I just remembered I have a PTO meeting today at 11 to discuss the school's Fall Festival. Emily is glad I can spend time at her school and help out...she is glad I am home but some days...I just want to pull my hair out!!!

I will post pics from our Fall Festival and some new ones of the girls....and our kittens that we have added to our family.
